How safe is China when walking around?

I am a foreigner living in China and in this video, I share a typical walk in Beijing with no cuts so you can soak up the atmosphere. China isn't the bogeyman they lead you to believe. The mainstream and 'new' media, and its backers want to keep you in a state of fear. Question everything.
