Moneyball KILLED the NBA

It's always exciting when an NBA Finals game ends with a buzzer beater, but let's be honest, the Playoff have been a SNOOZEFEST this year, for the most part. In fact, the entire NBA Product has become a shell of what it once was, and the reason is simple: too many long-range jumpers! The Math nerds may have decided that more threes gives every team a better chance to win, but in doing so they've stripped the entertainment value right out of the product. We compare Thursday's Game 01 to the 1992 NBA Finals Game 01, and the performance of the GOAT, Michael 'Air' Jordan, and what was considered at the time a TON of 3-Point Attempts. The Showtime, fast-paced game developed by the 80s Lakers and perfected by the 90s Bulls is gone, and fans are often left wondering, why should I care about this?
