So the album opens with the title track “Death Pierce Me” which offers up a clean sombre melancholic clean guitar riff being played repeatedly with an equally slow drum passage and it begins to plummet you downward and get you ready for this journey into nattramns insane mind and world in which he inhabits. This is a track full of pure insanity, despondency and suicide. The screams of pure terror and fear send chills down your spine as does the frantic anxiety inducing guitar work and drumming.

It pulls you down every passing moment and strikes more and more pain into every inch of your being but once your in, it locks you in for the entire ride. The pummeling double kicks and doom like repetition behind the black metal assault do nothing to make it any easier either because the emotions here are literally inhuman and the scope of suffering and pain being expressed here is almost too much and this album is an enthralling listen that has to be experienced to be believed. This is an absolute killer opening track

Next up is Sterile Nails And Thunderbowels and this is another step downward into complete utter insane psychosis and pure existential horror and suicidal hatred. The somber guitar melodies are soft at first before it explodes into a complete cacophonic full blown affair of some of the most terrifying and real vocals I've ever heard. The instrumentation serves as the vessel of expression for nattramn’s pain tortured screeches of acidic bile he spews into the microphone which do nothing but make you feel completely worthless and hate your very existence.

I cannot even imagine the insanity and despair that Nattramn goes through on a daily basis. As a listener I have experienced some of the things Nattramn has been afflicted with, but nowhere near to the degree that echoes through these passages of insane mental anguish and sickness and that’s exactly what we get with Death Pierce Me. This is literally the soundtrack to a man who is on the verge of completely losing his sanity for good. The edge is being pushed so far here that it almost begs the question “how the fuck was he able to survive the recording process" He was said to have cut himself deeply during the recording process to get a truly inhuman sounding scream and it sure as hell worked. Another masterpiece of despair and insanity.

Next up we have “Taklamakan” and it opens with a frantic pummeling anxiety inducing double bass drum pattern and snare drumming with some really amazing deep bass work here as well, before the melancholic psychotic guitar work breaks in and nattrams vocals take a different turn on this track and get a little bit more normal. Yet at the same time this track is just as insane as the others but it has a different tonality and vibe but its not any less dark and haunting.

This track is a lot more panic stricken and paranoid that the other 2 songs that came before it. But we do get some doom like passages here as well and some blasting black metal insanity once again. Nattramns pain and anguish on this track isn't any less prevalent either. The wails and shrieks coupled with his deep raps of seething venom and anguish complement the brutality of this song so well that it feels like it could collapse in on you at any second. This is suffocating claustrophobic madness that will leave you lifeless and that’s exactly what Silencer’s goal is on this record. Another sick fucking song here guys!
