▶️Decapitated Anti Cult Review◀️

Decapitated are a polish death metal band that formed back in 1996 and were fairly consistent over the years. I myself have never listened to this band so this is a first for me ladies and gentleman. Now the lineup on ANTI-CULT is as follows
Vogg Guitars, Bass, Piano, Songwriting
Rafał Piotrowski Vocals, Lyrics
Młody Drums, Songwriting
Hubert Więcek Bass

I can honestly say from what i have heard of this album that im not too thrilled to be doing this review but nontheless i will try and give it an objective viewpoint? anyways lets just get into the review

So the album opens with a 6 minute track titled "Impulse" and apparently this is groove/death metal? Well from what im hearing this is nothing but metalcore with some more speed and blast beats. Yes the band is talented and has potential? But what does that potential even mean if your music sounds boring and contrived and deriviative of tons of other bands out there doing the same thing? Sure there is some techincal ability on this track and they do know how to play their insturments. I also really hate the fucking vocals as well. This just sounds so contrived and forced to me. The production is FAR too clean and makes it sound like a pile of manufactured forced shit in my opinion. This is a very weak opener that might as well be a metalcore song.

Next is "Deathvaluation" and this is a slightly better song i suppose and is probably alot closer to "Death metal" then most of this album. Yet i am still failing to see how any real death metal fan would consider this to be a death metal album even in the slightest sense of the word because to be honest ITS NOT. however this track does have "blast beats" but blast beats are not the sole element that make death metal what it is at all. Why, why these shit metalcore fucking vocals as well? THIS IS NOT DEATH METAL This is an ok song but its nothing to write home about and is quite forgettable. I mean in all honesty why the hell would anyone classify this as Death metal? anyways... another medicore garbage modern metal track

Next is "Kill The Cult" wow thats original guys... anyways more chewed up recycled riffing, drumming and bass... that you can barely hear because of how fucking clean this production is... Polish makes metal sound like shit and if this is any indication of how most bands are producing their music nowadays? its no wonder i don't give a shit about new bands... Can you really blame me? This is just bad music man... i cannot get into this at all. The only thing ill give it? It does have people who can play insturments... But thats about it... Any kind of emotion or passion is ruined by the polished production. The vocals also kill the impact of what they are trying to bring forth here... Yes there is a good amount of double bass and some good drum work, however this doesn't make the album shine at all... Mediocrity at its best here guys
