Gospel of Mark - The Parable of Soils

This week, Pastor Seth Williams dives into the Parable of the Soils, or Parable of the Sower, in Mark (Mark 4:1-20)illustrates how people respond to the message of Jesus and the Gospel.It uses the analogy of a sower scattering seeds on different types of ground to represent how people receive and act upon the Word of God.The different soil types represent different responses: those who don't receive the message at all, those who initially show interest but fall away under pressure, those who are distracted by worldly concerns, and those who truly accept and grow in faith.
