One thing is certain, at any rate. Had the same events occurred between male boxers, Khelif would be considered a boxing legend rather than criticized for lacking the attributes of a ballerina.

While Imane Khelif—who was born and raised a woman in a Muslim family and country—is certainly not a man, her dedication to empowering children and breaking barriers in the world of sports is nothing short of inspiring to all but the most racist, sexist and bigoted tin foil hat conspiratorialists that include some of the prominent political figures in the Western world, who defamed her. She consequently sued some of them, including JK Rowling, Donald Trump and Elon Musk, thereby putting the judicial system itself on trial, to which the outcome remains to be seen.

Suffice to say that if Brigitte Macron is not a man, and is therefore entitled to extraordinary relief from Candace Owens, then the same should be the case for Imane Khelif.
