National Guard troops arrive in LA

The first members of the National Guard arrived in Los Angeles early on Sunday morning following President Trump’s order to deploy 2,000 troops in the city after two days of violence and protests. Trump praised the National Guard response as he blasted LA Mayor Karen Bass and California Gavin Newsom for being “unable to handle the tasks” of calming the city.
