Galatians 6:16 "The Israel of God. The fulfillment of Pentecost."

Pastor Lowell Nelson teaches on Galatians 6:16 "The Israel of God. The fulfillment of Pentecost." on 6/8/2025 for our Sunday service.

Galatians 6:16. As many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

Paul in our text speaks of the Israel of God. Not all ethnic Israel are spiritual Israel. Not all Israel believe by faith. We will look at the different interpretations of this phrase from different commentators and how some of these interretations have led to an error in belief and docctrine called "Replacement Theology". This belief is the error that the church has replaced Israel and receives ther promises of God that once belonged to Israel. That the church is the new Israel.
We will also look at this verse in the light our Pentecost celebration where the Holy Spirit falls upon 3000 Jews from all nations.
