The Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord - Malachi 3:13-4:6

Pastor David Rushton concludes a series in the book of Malachi: Return to Me. God concludes the final prophecy given in the Old Testament in a sobering description of the day of judgement. For unbelievers, this is a great and dreadful day, but for those found in Christ, it is a day of victory.

Malachi, the last book of the Old Testament, is God's final word to His chosen people before the coming of Jesus, the Messiah. The restored nation is reverting to the sins of their fore-fathers, and God exposes their sinful thoughts. He urges all people to return to Him and receive salvation before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
