Is Speaking in Tongues for Today?

The stance I take is simple: The gifts of the Spirit can be, and are, demonstrated in this day of the church. However, they are not elevated above the Messiah and the Father, nor should they be the focus of any church service. No man, not even a pastor or evangelist, has the "gift" to demonstrate any of the gifts of the Spirit on demand.
