ICE is still only targeting the worst of the worst, and they’re not conducting raids

ICE is not conducting raids. They’re conducting targeted investigations, operations, and arrests. They are only targeting known public safety threats; however, if they encounter you in the course of targeting that public safety threat, and you’re here illegally, they will arrest you—even if you have no criminal record. THAT IS THEIR JOB.
If you’re upset by this, work to change immigration laws. But there is nothing “fascist” about enforcing our existing laws which were passed by Congress.
Moreover, if you’re upset by the number of collateral arrests (the number of non-targets arrested/illegals without criminal records arrested), take it up with sanctuary cities. If sanctuary cities cooperated with ICE targeted operations, there would be far fewer collateral arrests.
