For the most part, I don't care "what other states" have done.

All too often, states pass laws, not because they make sense, but because other states have passed them already - or advocates are paid to push idiocy without thought upon elected officials. Some choose to follow the idiocy instead of actually reading the language. For the most part, I don't care what "other states have done."
