AJ Louderback and Tom Glass on Prosecution of Riot in Texas
4 months ago
5
Former Sheriff and now Texas State Rep AJ Louderback lays out HB 5318 on April 30, 2025, which would have allowed the Texas Attorney General to prosecute riot and a statute against blocking highways after 6 months of inactivity by District Attorneys. Tom Glass of Texas Constitutional Enforcement testifies in favor, saying no law is any good if not enforced. Glass pointed out how 800 rioters arrested in Harris County in 2020 were let go by the District Attorney and Antifa rioters who destroyed property on the Texas Capitol grounds also were not prosecuted by the Travis County District Attorney.
