Victor Davis Hanson: Californians took paradise and turned it into purgatory

Victor Davis Hanson, host of the Victor Davis Hanson Show, says California’s left-wing “one party state” puts heavy tax burdens on the middle class while one third of the state lives on government aid. “They took paradise and made it into purgatory,” he says. “And people are leaving paradise to go to places that are not nearly as scenic or beautiful or the weather, but they’re well run.”
