Man of Steel Part 1

The Man of Steel film re-tells the origin of the last Son of Krypton. Shows how a young Clark comes to grips of being different and how best to share his gifts. As Clark is coming into his own he discovers that there are other kryptonians in the universe. These Kryptonians want to remake krypton on planet Earth and Superman/Clark finds that he must lead the resistance to save the human race. Starring Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor El, Michael Shannon as General Zod and Antje Traue as Faora-Ul. This was a great movie and Cavill became Superman for a generation. The clip is short as I had some power outage issues. But watch for future clips showing the development of this piece. As you can see at the start of the clip you see the complete rendering of the piece as well as the cast photos I used as reference for the cast portraits. and my process of fleshing out the individual portraits or Clark in this case. As always materials used were Copic Markers, Prismacolor Premium colored pencils and graphite pencils.
