Xbox Reveals a NEW Handheld Console to Push Game Pass Even HARDER!

Summer Games Fest was a total dud. The 2 hour long commercial session revealed Resident Evil 9 and very little else, setting Xbox up to end the week on a high note and reignite a rivalry with the clear winner of the conferences, Sony PlayStation.

Microsoft served up several announcements of note but none more significant than their new handheld console, long rumored and thought dead. The Asus ROG partnership manifests with the Xbox Ally and Ally X (terrible names) and they will be a fully Windows experience from the ground up. Offering comparable specs to certain Steam Deck variations, Xbox is trying to break into that market and get everyone hooked on their subscription service they continue to market more strongly than any of their upcoming titles. It's a bold move that could pay off properly if the price is right, but given their other moves recently, it could be a dark future for gaming if they succeed.
