being perfected to function for the building of the church

How can we as members of the Body of Christ build up the Body? Is it only the gifted ones, the gifted persons, that can build up the Body of Christ, or can we all build up the Body? May the Lord remove any veils from our eyes for us to see our need to be perfected in our function and to grow in life so that we may function in our measure for the building up of the church today!
