In 1979 I was 15 years old and never even knew about A Man Called Sloane. I loved Robert Conrad in The Wild Wild West and this seems like a show I would have really liked. Freelance spy Sloane takes assignments from The Director, head of a secret agency. Assisted by Torque, a man with a detachable, multi-purpose hand.

A master of disguise, who works for Kartel, whom Thomas placed in prison, escapes. Kartel wants him to steal a weapon, but first wants them to bring his girlfriend to him. Thomas, knowing this, gets to her first. When the guy finds out, he kills the Kartel man and sets out to get her and Thomas.
