You are Chosen | Victory Talk | Tommy M. Josefsson

Think that He has chosen us, not us who have achieved "some kind of religious act" but He has done what is necessary for us to come to Him, God our Father through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Moreover, He has appointed us to bear fruit, the results of righteousness in our lives here. To be a testimony to others of God's great goodness towards us and that He is waiting for them to also receive the reconciliation in Christ.

Jn. 15:16-17 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another.

2 Tim. 1:9 who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was granted to us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

Rom. 8:33-39

Heb. 3:1 Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus;

1 Jn. 4:17 By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, we also are in this world.
