Iran Defends High-Level Uranium Enrichment: “No NPT Limit Above 60%”

🇮🇷 In a pointed statement, a spokesman for Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization challenged Western criticism of its uranium enrichment levels, stating:
“What’s wrong with enrichment above 60%?

There is no limit on this in the NPT.”

🇮🇷 Iran insists that its nuclear activities remain within the legal framework of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which does not explicitly restrict enrichment levels for civilian purposes.
