White House Data at Risk After Secret Starlink Installation by Musk's Team? | Firstpost America | N18G

In early 2024, Elon Musk’s team from the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) reportedly installed a Starlink satellite terminal on the White House roof, claiming it would fix internet “dead zones” across the complex. But security officials weren’t informed beforehand and couldn’t monitor the connection, according to reports. Experts now warn the Starlink link may have bypassed traditional White House cybersecurity protocols, allowing untracked data transfers in and out of one of the world’s most sensitive buildings. Despite Musk’s exit from the government, the “Starlink Guest” Wi-Fi network still appears on phones inside the complex.
