How confident are you in your own ability? What about your ability to resist temptation? Pastor Reid reminds us that, when it comes to temptation, we cannot afford to put confidence in our selves. The Bible teaches us that our own nature can betray us to temptation if we are not careful. This is why we follow God, so that He can help us in times of trial. We can make Jesus the true anchor of our confidence and put no confidence in the flesh.
