Alright so the album opens with the title track of the album Panzer Divison Marduk and my god we are treated to an instant sonic assault on all of the senses. The guitars are so fucking razor sharp that they slice through your flesh all while the drumming and bass shake your bones to the very core of your being and Legions vocals are just unbelievably packed with nothing but pure chaotic venom as he belches fire into the microphone singing about the Legion of marduk

Next up is Baptism By Fire which opens with sounds of war planes dropping bombs over enemy terror before it explodes into sonic war filled intensity that shows you no fucking mercy on its visceral violent attack of brutal uncompromised black metal to the core. The absolute ear shredding black metal riffing is so fucking memorable and sounds like an army of hell rolling over the hills to rip the sky into pieces with sonic violence and brutality and chaos. The bass and blasting of the drumming is skull pummeling but also earth shattering at the same time and this fucking song does everything to destroy you and smash you to fucking pieces

Next up we have Christraping Black Metal and well, you can pretty much guess what this song is all about cant you? Pure vile hatred for everything christian and holy. The riffing sounds like satanic legions annihilating the believers of the false god and holy grounds being destroyed and layed to ruins. The drumming reminds me of tank rounds being fired off by the thousands obliterating every trace of human existence and thats exactly what the atmosphere of this album paints inside of your mind. The vocals are so haunting and delievered with such a venomous passion that its hard to imagine the hatred that Legion and the band were feeling during this entire albums conception and recording process. But make no mistake about it, Marduk are not fucking around and this album is truly a marvel to behold

Next up is the absolutely devastating "Scorched Earth" which again is exactly what this one sounds like, though the riffing is a bit more sombre this time around almost like the aftermath of the 3 tracks of war torn insanity that just transpired on the record.
More of those chainsaw flesh ripping guitars are present all throughout this record with a raw production to match this sonic atmosphere of desolation and chaos and thats exactly what this album is all about and "Scorched Earth" is no fucking different.

Alot of people bitched about how Marduk wasn't "changing things up enough" on this record, but really why the fuck should they? I mean honestly do you know what the fuck your listening to with something like this? if you don't like it go jerk off to cradle of filth because i don't want my black metal "compromising" or appealing to the masses!

Next up we have "beast of prey" and back with that sonic blasting of panzer division tanks obliterating everything and decemating bodies and the enemy like nothing else. Chainsaw guitars, blast beating sonic chaos, thunderous bass and legion spewing his sonic hatred and obsession with war and chaos into the microphone like a crazed maniac on the verge of fucking frenzy with this one, and i wouldn't have it any other way ladies and gentleman.

The Atmosphere is so intense that all you can think about are images of smoke, fire, death, chaos and pain as you experience this record and it absolutely slays you and leaves you breathless. The sheer amount of talent and passion on this record is unbridled and no one could ever accuse this band of "being in it for the money" even though marduk are one of the bigger bands in the black metal scene? They sure as hell aren't mainstream
