Pakistan unveils new budget as citizens struggle with inflation and unemployment

Pakistan has presented its national budget for the coming year, prioritizing a significant increase in defence spending. This comes as the country continues to grapple with high inflation, rising unemployment, and widespread economic hardship. Despite a $7 billion loan package approved by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) last year, many ordinary Pakistanis say they have yet to feel any real relief.
