“Ray Kurzweil mentioned the point of singularity; that moment when artificial intelligence will surpass human intelligence and merge with it. It will obviously lead to a profound transformation of civilization, for better or worse.

Kurzweil envisions humans becoming immortal on a physical level, hyper-intelligent beings by integrating with machines , transcending biology, and entering a new evolutionary era.

But many see this as false transcendence, immortality in the machine at the cost of the true human spirit.

We can already see more people are increasingly identified with the physical body, taking biohacking to an extreme, the addiction to youthfulness and then overstepping nature, organic spiritual development, and evolution by forcing the merge of humans with machines just to extend life and ultimately losing their soul in the process.”
