How to enable or disable Windows item selection check boxes on icons

These sometimes get enabled if you connect a touch screen device such as a USB C monitor with touch enabled, or maybe if you are using a tablet style device.
Easy to turn on or off if needed
Open File Explorer or file browser and go into view, then go down to Show and then either select or deselect the item check boxes selection.
