Join us as we work to minimize our risk while sharing simple ways to help minimize the risk of wildfire damage to your home and property by creating a wild-fire resistant zone around your home including using fire resistant building materials, low flammability plants, creating firebreaks, thinning the forest, and so much more!

*Kathie was a volunteer certified firefighter for more than ten years. She was trained on the departments stump-jumper and was part of the crew that responded to the call for mutual aid during the 1995 Sunrise wildfires that burned approximately 5,000 acres of the Pine Barrens on Long Island.
