10 Days Later, Hot Spots from the Forest Fire Continue June 10 2025

we could smell the smoke but could not see any fires on the ground then the staff found the spot which is usually under water this time of the year. took the water tank on the wagon to the south trail using the TD-6 IH crawler known as the Curse of Reverse with the temporary gas motor to water down the fire. 250 feet of hose and numerous soaking attempts, the fire kept going because it was under the toothpick trees. no problem because the mini Hoe easily removed the toothpick trees so the staff could soak down the root balls and the moss-y ground. busy day but we had fun we think. thansk
