Patient Access to Integrative Therapies: A Decade of Challenges

In my recent interview series, "Our Toxic Nation: A Call for Reformation," I had the honor of speaking with Dr. Paul Anderson about patients' access to integrative therapies in an interview called "Patient Access to Integrative Therapies: A Decade of Challenges." This topic is a very personal one for me. As a complex, chronic mystery patient, I've found that the further away I get from conventional medicine, the more amazing treatment modalities are available. However, they are largely gatekept and inaccessible to most for various reasons. Whether restricted by cost, location, or awareness, the heartbreak was always the same when I would learn that I was being denied life-saving and changing treatments.
