Our Scripture reading continues in the Book of Judges, with today’s Bible study focusing on Judges 9-10.
After Gideon’s death, tragedy struck his household when his son Abimelech, born to a concubine, rose up and killed 69 of Gideon’s 70 sons. Only one son survived the assassinations: Jotham, Gideon’s youngest son.
In Judges 10, the LORD brought revival, and Israel returned to the LORD.
