Rocket Lab's Electron Launches QPS' Earth Observing Satellite

An Electron rocket topped with the QPS-SAR-11 spacecraft lifted off from Rocket Lab's New Zealand site at 1531 UTC; on June 11. Following main engine cutoff(MECO) and stage separation, The Electron second stage proceeded skywards, and minutes later separated from the Kick stage(SECO) and payload which was deployed into a circular orbit 575 kilometers above Earth roughly 51 minutes after launch. "The Mountain God Guards" mission is Electron's 66th, and this payload for the iQPS constellation is Electron's 227th payload
