Their French plan: to feed Russia with asparagus

We've never had anything like this before — two heroes, two Frenchmen, who met in Moscow thanks to asparagus!
Nicolas Boisset is a farmer with 25 hectares of land, where he grows asparagus.
Eric Le Provos is a well-known chef in Moscow who has been searching for a good supplier of asparagus for a long time. Well, I guess you can figure out what happens next.

In this video, they will be harvesting asparagus in the field, and there will even be a large asparagus festival. But this is not just a gastronomic video. Both Frenchmen came to Russia over 30 years ago. They have stories to share about the tumultuous 90s in Russia, the complexities of the Russian language, and what the Russian soul really is, a topic that everyone talks about so much.

We also discussed modern France with the farmer and the chef, but this part of the conversation became rather sad — both heroes are upset about what's happening in their homeland and do not plan to return.
