IWI Masada Slim Commander Elite

The IWI Masada Slim Commander Elite is a 9 mm striker-fired, single-stack pistol built around a 3.4″ button-rifled barrel and a 7075 aluminum grip module. Weighing in at 27.0 oz empty (36.1 oz with a full 13-round magazine, and roughly 38 oz with a 17-round extension), it strikes a balance between lightweight concealability and recoil-muffling stability. Aggressive G10 grip panels, an undercut beavertail, and front/rear slide serrations combine to provide a secure hold and easy press-checking or slide manipulation under stress.

Out of the box it’s optics-ready with an RMSc Shield cut—perfectly accommodating a Holosun EPS Carry or similar mini-red dots—while the stock white-dot front and blackout rear iron sights offer basic co-witness capability and can be upgraded to taller tritium or fiber-optic models. The refined extended feed ramp ensures reliable cycling across a wide spectrum of 9 mm ammunition, from budget steel-case FMJ to premium hollow points, with zero failures observed in over 300 rounds of testing.

A factory-installed Picatinny-style rail allows attachment of lights such as the Streamlight TLR-7X Sub, and the flared magazine well streamlines reloads for both the flush-fit 13-round magazine and the optional 17-round sleeve. At 6.25″ overall length, 4.88″ height, and just over 1″ width, it conceals easily AIWB or in a compact holster without printing, while the durable black-nitride finish stands up to holster wear.

Magazine-family compatibility within the Masada Slim line, coupled with the ability to swap grip modules or slides, offers customization options down the road. With its crisp \~3.5 lb trigger break, short tactile reset, and user-friendly ergonomics, the Masada Slim Commander Elite delivers a well-rounded package for everyday carry and range use alike.
