In the twilight forests of 2nd century Dacia, the legionaries of the Legio XII Fulminata pushed deeper into barbarian territory, tasked with ending a series of unusually savage raids on Roman settlements. The hardened soldiers, masters of conventional warfare, were unknowingly marching to confront a foe born not of tribal rebellion, but from the darkest corners of nightmare.
