One day, he was sitting in the royal court listening to poetry. Suddenly, a devastated man appeared in the court.

He started shouting, "Wa Muta'simah!" Oh Mu'tasimah! My sister was taken away by the Romans! They raped her!

Mu'tasim Billah stood up so hard from the throne that his jaws were torn!

He said, "By Allah, I will not sit down! Until I cut off the head of that Christian dog of Amuriyah!"

Allah Almighty gave Mu'tasim the ability to fulfill his oath.

Exactly a quarter of a century before Mu'tasim Billah. Another incident happened in Baghdad. In his place was the historically famous tyrant Hajjaj bin Yusuf.

A girl named Nahid was in the prison of robbers kept by the emperor of Hindustan, Raja Dahir. Some robber raised his hand towards the girl.

He wrote a letter in blood and sent it to Hajjaj. The letter, written on a cloth handkerchief, contained only two words—
Wa Hajjajah...
