BURKINA FASO,MALI AND RUSSIA AUTHORIZES NUCLEAR-ENERGY DEAL

Russia has officially approved a new nuclear energy deal with two of its key West African allies—Burkina Faso and Mali.
Under this agreement, Russia’s state nuclear agency Rosatom will help both countries develop nuclear infrastructure, including research reactors and potential power plants. The goal? To boost local energy production, strengthen scientific cooperation, and reduce energy insecurity in the region.
