Alright so the album opens with “Woe Is The Contagion” and instantly sounds like 100,000 hornets buzzing their way through the air on their way to attack and sting you until you are dead in fact the stinging sensation of these godamned guitars is so harsh and abrasive in its delivery that you would swear that this is exactly what’s going on in the track itself. Underneath are drums that sound like they are being played by demons from hell itself. The vocals are absolutely inhuman and demonic and sound like the twisted insane howls of the damned coming straight for your throat, claws drawn and shredding your flesh violently as they proceed to lunge their tongues and horns into your body repeatedly. Your veins fill with torment and despair as the track pummels forth into a violent crescendo of blasting beats from the cloven hooves of a nightmare horse. Demonic howls of anguish continue to bellow forth behind the buzzsaw despair filled ice cold riffs of pure black hatred and suicidal anxiety. It kind of hits a groove towards the end of the track with more absolutely inhuman demonic vocals and effects. This is a whirlwind of demonic chaos and suicidal despair that will leave you absolutely godamned breathless in its emotion, visceral imagery and tortured shrieks and demonic howls of insanity and pain. An absolute masterpiece of a track here guys.

Next up is Exact Agony, Take Life and this one is a pretty upbeat rock and roll like bm song with a lot of emphasis on almost being kind of bluesy? But not really if that makes any sense, but it is a really stomping groovy track with lots of incredible black metal raspy type vocals and pounding bass that kind of give it that up tempo black metal feeling(about as upbeat as bm can be?) The song then sways forth with melancholic mournful guitar riffs of despair and agony as the vocals spew forth like a trapped desolate soul on the brink of its own demise all while the thick atmosphere of the production suffocates you beneath its muddy soul draining despair that pulls you deeper into its abyss of suicidal hatred and misanthropic agony and isolation. It clocks in at just over 3 minutes and this almost gives it a punk like approach but it certainly is a very emotionally charged black metal track here as well. Screams of agony and full on despair echo through the walls of guitar dissonance and despair filled notes until the very end of the track. Great track here as well guys.

Next up we have Larval Liase and im damned sure Malefic is on vocals with this one. It instantly reminds me of Xasthur both in how its composed and in its absolute black isolated depression and claustrophobic and thick the atmosphere is with literal black fog and ice cold riffing and drums that pulse pound but almost sound like an anxiety fueled nightmare where time is lost and images of dark crypts and mausoleums pierce through your minds eye and the pain and loss of death and a truly lifeless existence engulf you on this track.

Next up is my personal favorite on the album with “Winter Before” and It opens with the most ominous depressing anxiety inducing Ebow bass line that is so godamned deep you would swear it’s the mouth of insanity and blackness opening itself wide and swallowing you whole into its void of pain and despair. Overtop of this void is an ice cold melancholic riff passage that only further adds to the depression and anxiety of the track with riffs so cold and abrasive that it feels like a razor blade is being dragged across your flesh at such a slow pace that you feel every ounce of pain in every affected nerve ending where the razor blades are cutting you.
