French helicopter pilot Daniel Michau witnessed an enormous UFO the size of an ocean liner in 1973

Daniel Michau's testimony :

"This was in 1973, i was a young 3rd GHL ALAT pilot. Aboard an ALAT AL II, i was flying between Rennes Saint Jacques & Caen. I was going to Caen Carpiquet where the PEFAT school was. This was a nice mission for us. It was 11 AM.

Suddenly, Jean Luc said "Look Daniel, what is, oh sh**..." I turned my head and saw. We were passed by on the right by a huge airship long as a liner, without portholes, without lights, no smoke, without any instruments perturbation.

After the observation, which lasted maybe a long second (but a second is long nonetheless), i contacted the Caen control tower via VHF indicating we've just been passed by a sort of huge silent airship. The control tower answered that they saw an echo across the radar north to south at very high speed.

Saying this was a UFO in the extra-terrestrial sense, i don't know. That being said, it was of dull grey color, mesuring something like 200 to 300m long (650 - 1000 feet), with a very important diameter, wasn't making any sound, had no "bouchins vifs???" like an airship, was quite pointy at the front and at the rear too i think.

I'm not sure the rear was different than the front but when it passed us, the rear view let us appreciate the very huge size of this "airship". We've had little time to observe it, but enough for the both of us to estimate its huge dimensions and its general shape.

Some friends of mine asked if we didn't exaggerate the dimensions, my answer was no. I still have in memory this image of the rear view of it, the disappearance in the distance of this great big full grey circle, which went from a height of many roofs to a point before disappearing.

The most incredible thing is we were not scared. After that, we got a bit more tense with the mecanician.

There was no rain, no fog, we weren't near a military base, just above the countryside.

Nothing has been modified aboard, and Jean Luc & me really have seen what i describe. We talked often about that after. Of course, we hadn't been drinking, or using drugs which weren't existing at that time, especially in the army. I have nothing to sell or to suggest, i'm looking for no announcement effect. My words are true, incredible but true nonetheless".
