Sabbath Debate 7th Day Adventist dodges audience question
A Question That Hit a Nerve
I asked a simple, theoretical question in the chat:
“If a church promotes a false prophet, are they breaking the Sabbath?”
No accusations. No names. Just a logic-based question.
But the SDA speaker couldn’t answer it directly.
Instead, he deflected — giving a vague answer about categories of sin and covenant signs without ever saying yes or no.
And that’s curious.
Because if you believe your church has nothing to hide, you’d just say:
“Yes — of course. If a church follows a false prophet, they’re not honoring God. And the Sabbath is a sign of loyalty to God.”
But he couldn’t say that.
Why?
Because deep down, he likely realized: If he answered honestly… he’d be implicating his own church.
If he denied the logic… he’d be redefining what Sabbath faithfulness actually means.
It was a quiet moment — but it exposed the crack in the foundation.
Because the biblical Sabbath isn’t just about resting on the right day — it’s a sign of allegiance to the true God (Exodus 31:13).
And if your church is following a false prophet, you are not honoring the Sabbath — no matter what day you rest.
“They polluted My Sabbaths, for their heart went after their idols.”
— Ezekiel 20:16
That’s not just theory. That’s Scripture.
🎥 Rewatch the moment around 2:35:00 and ask yourself:
Why did that question get dodged?

Open Letter to Myles of “Answering Adventism”
— And to all ministries confronting Seventh-day Adventism
Dear Myles,
I’m writing this publicly not to start a fight — but to clarify why I once challenged you to a Sabbath debate, and to offer a deeper strategic perspective that I hope you’ll consider.
Let me begin with something we agree on:
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a dangerous and deceptive system.
Its authority stands or falls on one person: Ellen G. White. If she is a false prophet, then everything that stands on her collapses — including their claims about the Sabbath, prophecy, the “remnant church,” and their entire gospel framework.
But here’s the issue.
I believe many ministries — including yours at times — are aiming at the wrong target.
🔄 The Tone-Deaf Echo Chamber
Here’s what I mean:
Many Sunday defenders — especially in public debates — sound like they’re arguing for convenience over conviction. They talk about working on Sunday, flipping light switches, or how they “just feel peace” about it. But to someone watching with a sincere desire to obey God, that comes across as weak, compromised Christianity.
Meanwhile, the SDA guy quotes the Ten Commandments, appeals to Jesus’ example, and says, “We want to obey the fourth commandment too.” Who sounds more faithful in that moment?
The result?
Viewers walk away saying:
“Even if I’m not sure about Ellen White, these SDA folks are the only ones who seem serious about honoring God.”
And that’s how the trap gets sprung.
This is why I believe attacking the Sabbath itself is not an effective strategy.
It backfires. It reinforces the SDA position. And it makes Sunday defenders look like they’re against God’s law.

🧨 The Argument No One Is Making (But Should Be)
Here’s the irony: You don’t have to argue against the Sabbath to expose the SDA Church.
You only have to prove this:
The SDA Church doesn’t keep the Sabbath — because it promotes a false prophet.
That’s it. Game over.
I asked a question during a recent SDA vs. Baptist debate (timestamp ~1:52:30):
“If a church promotes a false prophet, are they breaking the Sabbath?”
The SDA apologist froze. He couldn’t answer.
Why? Because the logic was too tight:
The Sabbath is a sign of loyalty to the true God (Exodus 31:13).
Promoting a false prophet is promoting a false spirit (Deut. 13:1–5).
That means you’re not keeping the Sabbath — you’re polluting it (Ezekiel 20:16).
So the SDA Church doesn’t keep the Sabbath. It violates it every time it exalts Ellen White as a mouthpiece for God.
That’s the argument nobody is making — but it’s the one that actually works.
It dismantles their entire identity as Sabbath-keepers. And it makes any debate about “which day” irrelevant.

✅ A Better Strategy for Answering Adventism
So here’s my appeal to you, Miles — and to anyone else trying to reach people trapped in the SDA system:
Stop attacking the Sabbath.
Start exposing how Adventism has already broken it.
They claim to keep the fourth commandment. But by promoting a false prophet, they profane the very day they claim to honor.
And that argument lands whether someone believes in the Sabbath or not.
