We’ve on many occasions asked why and what is inspiring the current crop of Eurozone leaders to be so Russophobically focused on setting themselves up as bulwark against an ostensibly expansionist Russia, while, meanwhile back at the ranch, all post Cold War history shows how it was not Russia that expanded, but, the EU and NATO that crept like cancer through, and infected territories up to the borders of current-day, post-Soviet Russia.

Nevertheless, as we started off with. We have often scratched our heads about the MacroNapoleon’s, the Merz’ and the moronic mayhem monger Boris Johnson and their motivation to be like Lindsey Graham, and other neo-con anti-Russia war hawks.

Anyway. Point being, if one listens to Yanis Varoufakis, the latest craze of increasing military spending and budgets to 5% of GDP, because of US withdrawing itself from Europe, and the promulgation of Russia as existential threat of Europe, is the latest wave of an effort to save a fundamentally flawed, and flailing, financial and monetary system propping up the Euro.
