Why does Nothing Stop this Train?

1. Structural Deficits:
Since 2017, the U.S. has run 6–7% deficits even with low unemployment. We’ve entered an era of fiscal dominance.

2. Broken Brakes:
Raising rates no longer slows the economy, it accelerates deficits due to high federal debt (more than 100% of GDP).

3. Debt Shift:
Post-2008, private credit growth stalled. Public debt took over.

4. Exploding Interest Expense:
Interest rates are up. Debt is at all-time highs. Interest expense has become a dominant budget item ($1.2 trillion in 2024)

5. Social Security = Time Bomb:
The fund peaked in 2018 and is rolling over. It’s projected to run dry by 2035, and both political parties have promised not to touch it.

6. It’s a Ponzi:
Total U.S. debt almost never shrinks. Any deleveraging triggers money printing. The system must grow or die.

7. Bitcoin = Exit:
Fiat is elastic, opaque, and corruptible. Bitcoin is fixed, transparent, and incorruptible.
