I fell from the sky

I fell from the sky with my eyes open wide,
The stars didn’t catch me, but I didn’t hide.
The world spun in silence, so heavy and loud,
With people like statues all lost in the crowd.

They walked with no shadows, no spark in their eyes,
Just mirrors of mirrors repeating old lies.
Their hearts wrapped in noise, their minds in a bind,
Afraid of the truth they might happen to find.

But I saw the glow deep beneath all their skin—
A light locked away in the silence within.
The Divine in disguise, so smothered in self,
Tucked far on a dimly lit, dust-covered shelf.

And me? I keep walking, I smile, I burn,
With fire they’ve long since forgotten to learn.
I won’t scream or scold or demand they ignite,
I’ll just be the spark that remembers the light.

So dance through the darkness, don’t stumble or flee,
Be bold in your being and let yourself be.
For falling’s not failure—it’s just how we rise,
Like stars learning flight in the depth of the skies.

And maybe, just maybe, the ones passing through
Will open their eyes…
And remember it too.
