Alright so tonight I figured I would rank one of my favorite old school metal bands and tonight I thought what the hell lets fucking rank a proto thrash metal legend.. can you guess who im talking about yet?

Motorhead ladies and gentleman and this is a band that I honestly think? Played an absolute intergal role in the creation of thrash metal.

Many will cite motorhead as hard rock and perhaps speed metal. If you listen to the elements and compositional structuring of motorhead the thrash roots are definitely there, I have always considered Motorhead to be Proto-thrash metal with some hard rock elements thrown in for good measure.
