Apatros Review Ep-0164: Resident Evil: Retribution [2012]

AR-0164: The fifth film in the "Resident Alice" series of film adaptations [true RE fans will know precisely what I mean by that], this one is in my view the very worst of the bunch.
While not a terrible movie exactly - it has plenty of the slick cheesy action, haphazard plotting and fan service [although not the nudity kind] RE masochists expect of the Anderson movies and Milla Jovovich [Mrs. Anderson - there's a jokey reference to that in the movie itself if you keep your ears open] is awesome as always, but the script here is so incoherent and sloppy it will be unwatchable to anyone who doesn't have intimate knowledge of the RE games or seen all of the previous Resident Alice films to understand...

My Grade: D [Bad]
