Parasha Sh'lach L'cha: Numbers 13:1-15:41

God tells Moses to send twelve 'spies,' the actual word is translated as 'tourists' to tour the Land of Canaan that God is giving to the Israelites. Of the twelve tourists, only Caleb and Joshua give a good report. Also in the parasha is the tradition of giving a piece of challah to God when making bread, and the blue thread we put on the tzitzit, or tassels, of our tallits.
