In early 1991, after his chaotic Orlando arrest, GG’s notoriety caught the eye of a rogue Burger King marketing exec, Jerry “Fast Food Frenzy” Malone, who saw a chance to tap into the counterculture. Malone, a closet punk enthusiast, pitched a daring campaign to his bosses: “Let’s sign this madman to shock the suburbs!” After weeks of haggling, fueled by late-night whiskey and GG’s insistence on creative control, a deal was struck for a limited regional ad run in Florida. The shoot was a disaster—GG trashed the set, demanded raw meat toppings, and improvised his lines, which nearly scrapped the project. Only a single take survived, aired briefly in late 1991 before being pulled amid public outrage and corporate panic.

Buried for decades, the tape’s rediscovery in 2025 sparked a frenzy among punk collectors, with rumors of a secret Burger King vault hiding more unreleased footage.
