Father's Day

Gary Froiland returns with a timely and heartfelt message for Father’s Day 2025, following up on his impactful Mother's Day sermon from a few weeks ago.

While mothers often receive the spotlight when it comes to expressions of love and appreciation, the quiet strength and consistent presence of a father can sometimes go unnoticed. On this day set aside to honor the foundation of the family, Gary explores the often-overlooked sacrifices fathers make—not only for their children, but for their spouses as well.

In this special message, he highlights two essential aspects of fatherhood: the daily acts of service that define a father’s role, and five powerful phrases every father should make a point to say to his children.

We pray this message blesses and encourages you, as we seek to uplift and equip fathers to be the godly leaders and examples our families—and our world—so greatly need.

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use in our county.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
