Frail, Mouthpiece + the 90’s Straight-Edge Shift

1990’s hardcore band Frail were probably the first band to mix east coast straight-edge hardcore with the burgeoning west coast "screamo” aesthetic of Ebullition Records. With Frail’s discography recently reissued on Numero Group it may not be apparent that they were a polarizing group in their day. Jason and Joshua go back to the 1993 to discuss the importance of this band at the time, “beef” with Mouthpiece, and why we have kind of a hard time with their music now.
