Synopsis: Attacks on an Arctic outpost and a military transport plane reveal the existence of a giant prehistoric praying mantis, released from suspended animation by the calving of an iceberg and now flying over Greenland on its way to New York City. An Air Force colonel works together with a paleontologist and his museum colleague to try to kill it.
