How to remove or restore Google Chrome UI refresh 2023 or Material You 2024 redesign from the Google Chrome browser.

The new design of Google Chrome isn't for everyone, and for many of us the muscle memory or convenience of knowing where things are quickly is under estimated. So when Google make a change it is nice to be able to say NO THANKS!

In this simple guide I will show you how to easily revert your Google Chrome Browser back to the original user interface, and also revert back if you decide that the new design actually does suit you.

Open the Google Chrome Browser on your device, and navigate to the URL
chrome://flags
Now search for "Chrome-refresh-2023"
Now choose disable to revert to the older UI and then click relaunch to activate the change.

If you want to go back to the new UI interface select default or enable and then click relaunch again to apply the setting.

This UI change does NOT effect any of the extra new security patches or features.
